Caddied for his uncle, Dana Quigley, a longtime member of the Champions Tour, when he shot a 61 at the 1982 Greater Hartford Open; Brett's dad, Paul, is one of New England's top amateur golfers

Won 1987 U.S. Junior Amateur

Academic All-American at University of South Carolina in 1990 and '91

Owns two Nationwide Tour victories at 1996 Philadelphia Classic and 2001 Arkansas Open

Competed at first Masters in 2007, the same week his wife gave birth to their first child, Lillian Sage Augusta, who got the last part of her name because she was born two days before the start of the tournament. Brett went home for the birth and then got back to Augusta National in time to compete (51st place)

Has never won a PGA Tour event, but has tied for second twice: 2001 Greater Greensboro Classic and 2004 U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee

Enjoys surfing, reading, cars and motorcycles
