Qualified for his first U.S. Open via a 5-for-2 playoff in the Memphis, Tenn., sectional after shooting 7-under 135 at Germantown Country Club and Ridgeway Country Club. Three of his four professional wins have come on the NGA Pro Golf Tour; the other occurred on the Adams Pro Tour. Played collegiately at the University of Mississippi and turned pro in 2011, the same year he was a semifinalist in the U.S. Amateur Public Links at Bandon Dunes. Also member of the 2010 U.S. Palmer Cup Team. Regained his PGA Tour card for 2017 season after a strong showing last year on the Web.com Tour with four top-10 finishes, including a pair of runner-up showings. His best PGA Tour finish in 2017 has been a tie for eighth in the Wells Fargo Championship.
