Did not have the same improbable finish at Canoe Brook Country Club to earn his second consecutive U.S. Open berth. A year after he holed a 40-foot birdie putt on the par-5 18th hole of the North Course, the former Drexel University golfer shot 8-under 134 to share second in the Summit, N.J., sectional. But Crawford did need to survive a playoff in his local qualifier at the Country Club of York (Pa.) to garner the final spot. Became Drexel's first-ever Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year in 2015 after winning three times. Named CAA's Rookie of the Year in 2013. Finished college career with six victories.
