The Ohio State University rising junior navigated both stages of qualifying to earn his first U.S. Open start. Harber was the medalist in the Weymouth C.C. local qualifier on May 12, where he posted a 66. He then shot 9-under 135 in final qualifying at the Lakes Golf & Country Club in suburban Columbus, Ohio, playing 5-under golf over his last five holes. Harber was the runner-up in the 2025 Ohio Open and finished fourth in the 2025 Ohio Amateur. in 2024, he captured the Columbus District Amateur.
