Qualified for his ninth U.S. Open, but first since 2011, by shooting 8-under 136 in the Columbus, Ohio, sectional held at The Lakes Golf & Country Club and Brookside Golf & Country Club. Played in the 2004 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills, but missed the cut. Owns 13 professional victories, including four on the PGA Tour. Last PGA Tour win came in the 2013 Humana Challenge (formerly Bob Hope Desert Classic). As an amateur, he helped the University of Florida win the 1993 NCAA title, and he was a two-time Southeastern Conference individual champion and two-time All-American. Member of the victorious 1993 USA Walker Cup Team.
