He registered his first PGA Tour victory last fall at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas (CJ Cup) and then collected his second on May 30 at the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas by two strokes over 54-hole leader Jordan Spieth. Two of his other six professional victories came on the Nationwide Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) during the 2011 season (Albertsons Boise Open and Miccosukee Championship). He played collegiately at Xavier University. While at the Cincinnati, Ohio, school, he won consecutive Ohio Amateur titles in 2006 and 2007.
