Owns three Japan Golf Tour wins, including two in 2008 (ANA Open and Bridgestone Open). First win came in 2005 at Asahiyokuken Yomiuri Memorial

Ranked No. 2 on the Japan Golf Tour money list in 2008, which earned him an exemption into the 2009 U.S. Open.
