After capturing the 2009 Players Championship, Stenson went winless until he beat George Coetzee by three strokes to win the 2012 South African Open, his seventh European Tour victory; splits time between the European Tour and the PGA Tour; runner-up in the 2013 British Open and finished third at PGA Championship before claiming both the FedEx Cup and Race to Dubai titles on the PGA and European tours, respectively; represented Sweden in 1998 World Amateur Team Championship; member of 2006 and 2008 European Ryder Cup Teams.
