The Louisiana native and LSU alum holds the record for the lowest 72-hole score in major championship history. He set the mark of 265 at the 2001 PGA Championship at Atlanta Athletic Club. In the 2012 U.S. Open, Toms shot 68 in the final round for his best finish in the national championship.
