Dufner won the 2013 PGA Championship at Oak Hill C.C. in Rochester, N.Y. Other good showings in majors include a second-place finish to Keegan Bradley in the 2011 PGA Championship and a T-4 in the 2013 U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club and the 2012 U.S. Open at The Olympic Club. Dufner was the runner-up to Trevor Immelman in the 1998 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship at Torrey Pines. He has four PGA Tour victories, the last coming in January 2016 at the CareerBuilder Challenge at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif. He was a member of the 2012 U.S. Ryder Cup Team and 2013 U.S. Presidents Cup Team.
