The South Carolina native won the 2009 U.S. Open at Bethpage Black after making it through sectional qualifying; joined Michael Campbell (2005), Steve Jones (1996) and Jerry Pate (1976) as recent winners of the U.S. Open who went through sectional qualifying; owns six professional wins, three of which have come on the PGA Tour; last win was in a playoff over fellow Clemson alum Jonathan Byrd at 2011 Wells Fargo Championship; member of 2007 and 2009 U.S. Presidents Cup Teams; member of 2001 USA Walker Cup Team.
