Registered his third PGA Tour win at the 2017 Shell Houston Open, which earned him the final invitation to the 2017 Masters, where he tied for 11th. His first PGA Tour victory came in the 2013 Sony Open and in 2014 he won The Honda Classic in a four-man playoff, which included 2011 U.S. Open champion Rory McIlroy. Henley, who shared low-amateur honors with Scott Langley in the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, won the Tour's Stadion Classic at UGA in 2011 as an amateur. It came on a course where Henley had honed his skills as a collegiate golfer at the University of Georgia. He became the second amateur to win on that circuit after Daniel Summerhays. It came four months before he represented the USA in the Walker Cup Match at Royal Aberdeen in Scotland. Henley claimed two more Tour events in 2012 after turning professional.
