Final Qualifying: Shot 66-67 at Lambton Golf & Country Club in Toronto, Canada, on June 5
The Ohio State University graduate will make his first U.S. Open start after shooting 7-under 133 at Lambton Golf & Country Club in Toronto. Armour owns two professional wins, including the 2017 Sanderson Farms Championship on the PGA Tour. He also claimed the 2016 Panama Claro Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour. Prior to attending Ohio State, Armour lost to Tiger Woods in the championship match of the 1993 U.S. Junior Amateur. Leading 2 up with two to play, Woods birdied the final two holes to force extra holes and then claimed his unprecedented third consecutive Junior title on the 19th hole. Armour was a third-team All-American for the Buckeyes in 1998, and a two-time All-Big 10 selection. He turned professional in 1999 and competed on the Hooters Tour and Golden Bear Tour before earning his Korn Ferry Tour card for the 2004 season.
