Ended a 0-for-73 drought in the majors with his sudden-death playoff win over Justin Rose in the 2017 Masters. Garcia owns 35 worldwide wins, including 10 on the PGA Tour. His last victory was the 2019 KLM Open on the European Tour. Prior to turning professional in 1999, he won the 1998 Amateur Championship conducted by The R&A and was the youngest winner of the European Amateur when he claimed the 1995 title at 15. He also won the 1997 British Boys and was a semifinalist in the 1998 U.S. Amateur. Garcia twice represented Spain (1996 and 1998) in the World Amateur Team Championship and is a nine-time European Ryder Cup competitor.
