The Spaniard will make his second U.S. Open start after being inside the top 60 of the Official World Golf Ranking as of June 12. Larrazabal owns nine DP World Tour victories, including the 2023 KLM Open, which moved him inside the top 60 of the OWGR. That came a month after he won the Korean Open, an event co-sanctioned by the Korean Tour. He is the younger brother of 2002 British Amateur champion Alejandro Larrazabal. Pablo served as his caddie in that championship. Pablo attended high school in the United States and when he returned home to Spain in 2002, he intended to turn professional, but his father, Gustavo, made him work on the family's fish farm for two years to understand the value of money.
