Earned his second U.S. Open start by finishing as the runner-up in the Barracuda Championship in early August, falling one point short to Richy Werenski in the Modified Stableford format. He registered his first PGA Tour win in the 2015 Quicken Loans National by three strokes over Rickie Fowler. He also won the 2009 Mexico Open on the Nationwide (now Korn Ferry) Tour. The Iowa native played two years at Winona State University before transferring to Boise State. In December 2009, he became just the third player to medal in the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament by leading after every round.
