Olesen is set to make his fifth U.S. Open start after earning his way into the field via final qualifying in Canada, where he posted a pair of 67s at Lambton Golf & C.C. The Dane owns 15 worldwide victories, eight of which have come on the DP World Tour (formerly European Tour). His last victory came in the 2024 Ras Al Khaimah Championship. He also claimed the 2023 Thailand Classic. Prior to that, he ended a four-year victory drought with his 2022 win at the Betfred British Masters. Olesen owns two top-10 finishes in majors, including a tie for sixth in the 2013 Masters. Olesen represented Europe on the victorious 2018 Ryder Cup Team, and he has represented Denmark four times in the World Cup.
