Bio

Burmester will make his third U.S. Open start after posting 6-under 138 to garner one of the five spots in the Jupiter, Fla., final qualifier at The Bear's Club. Four of his 12 worldwide victories have come on the European Tour (now DP World Tour), including the 2023 Investec South African Open, an event co-sanctioned by the Sunshine Tour. He also owns one victory on LiV Golf (Miami), which came this season. He is coming off a tie for 12th in the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club. His father, Mark, played international cricket for Zimbabwe.
