Earned his second U.S. Open start by being among the top 70 of the Official World Golf Ranking as of March 15. Played one season for the University of Washington after a strong high school career that saw him win a pair of 3A state titles at Clarkston (Wash.) High School. Turned professional in 2010 and worked his way through the Mackenzie Tour-PGA Tour Canada, PGA Tour Latinoamerica and the Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) to earn status on the PGA Tour. A cancer survivor, Dahmen had his best PGA Tour finish at the 2019 Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C., when he was the runner-up to Max Homa.
