The Swede will make his U.S. Open debut after posting 9-under 135 at Walton Heath Golf Club on May 19. He turned pro in 2010 and played on the Nordic Golf League and European Challenge Tour before graduating to the DP World Tour. Lagergren owns eight professional victories, including the 2018 Rocco Forte Sicilian Open on the DP World Tour. He also captured three titles apiece on the Nordic Golf League and European Challenge Tour. He also was the runner-up in the 2021 Alfred Dunhill Cup that is contested at Kingsbarns, Carnoustie and the Old Course at St. Andrews.
