The Fargo, N.D., native will make his eighth U.S. Open start after qualifying for the 2024 Tour Championship, the season-ending event in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Hoge broke through for his first PGA Tour victory in 2023 when he captured the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. His two other professional wins came in the 2017 Bobcat North Dakota Open and the 2011 Canadian Tour Players Cup on PGA Tour Canada. He did hold the 54-hole lead at the 2018 Sony Open, only to finish third. At Texas Christian University, Hoge posted two victories and tied for third in the 2009 NCAA Division I Championship.
