F-21: Top 60 points leaders in the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 20
Jaeger broke through for his first PGA Tour victory in March when he held off world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler to win the Texas Children's Houston Open. Previously, Jaeger had captured six titles on the Korn Ferry Tour, which ranks him second all-time behind Jason Gore (7). This will be his fourth U.S. Open start, having made the cut in 2020 (Winged Foot) and Erin Hills (2017). Jaeger's first win on the Korn Ferry Tour was the 2016 Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae, where he opened with a 58. The German-born Jaeger came to the U.S. as an exchange student in 2006 and attended the Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tenn., where he was teammates with 2011 USA Walker Cup competitor and four-time PGA Tour winner Harris English. He then moved on to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he was a teammate of 2012 U.S. Amateur champion Steven Fox.
