F-11: Players who qualified and were eligible for the season-ending 2024 Tour Championship
The South African will be making his fourth U.S. Open start after being among the 30 players to qualify for the 2024 Tour Championship, the finale in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Of his 10 worldwide professional victories, three have come on the European Tour (now DP World Tour). He finished as the runner-up to amateur Nick Dunlap in the 2024 American Express Championship in Rancho Mirage, Calif., but collected the first-place check. He posted a pair of victories late in 2020 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship and South African Open. He also lost a playoff to Lucas Herbert in the 2020 Omega Dubai Desert Classic. He represented the International Team in the 2022 and 2024 Presidents Cups.
