F-15: The top two players from the final 2022 DP World Tour Final Points List who are not otherwise exempt as of May 22, 2023

Lawrence is set to make his U.S, Open debut after producing three victories on the DP World Tour in the past two years. His maiden win came in the 2021 Joburg Open, an event co-sanctioned by the Sunshine Tour. He also won the 2022 Omega European Masters and the 2022 Investec South African Open. As an amateur, Lawrence claimed back-to-back South African Amateur titles in 2013-14 and he won the Lytham Trophy in 2014. After turning pro in 2014, he posted three wins on the Sunshine Tour as well as victories on the Big Easy Tour, MENA Tour and IGT Pro Tour.
