The former Purdue University standout will make his fourth U.S. Open start after posting 10-under-par 132 at Bent Tree Country Club to garner one of the seven available spots. Schenk owns one win on the Korn Ferry Tour, the 2017 Lincoln Land Charity Classic. He also won the 2015 Iowa Open. Schenk nearly registered his first PGA Tour win at the 2021 Shriners Children's Open in Las Vegas, holding the 54-hole lead before settling for a share of third. He also lost a playoff to Emiliano Grillo in the 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, and was the runner-up in the 2023 Valspar Championship after holding the 54-hole lead.
