The former Purdue University standout will make his second U.S. Open start after being among the top 60 points leaders in the Official World Golf Ranking as of June 12. Schenk owns one win on the Korn Ferry Tour, the 2017 Lincoln Land Charity Classic. He also won the 2015 Iowa Open. Schenk nearly registered his first PGA Tour win at the 2021 Shriners Children's Open in Las Vegas, holding the 54-hole lead before settling for a share of third. He also lost a playoff to Emiliano Grillo in this year's Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, and was the runner-up in the Valspar Championship after holding the 54-hole lead.
