F-17: Top two finishers in the DP World Tour's U.S. Open Qualifying Series not previously exempt

The Swede and DP World Tour rookie will be making his first U.S. Open start after being among the top two players on the DP World Tour's U.S. Open Qualifying Series not previously exempt. It will also be his maiden appearance in a major championship. Forsstrom broke through for his first DP World Tour victory on May 14 at the Soudal Open in Belgium, edging compatriot Jens Dantorp by a stroke. He also won the 2016 KPMG Trophy on the European Challenge Tour. And he has won twice in the Nordic Golf League. In the fall of 2022, he won the DP World Tour Qualifying School in Spain by shooting 29 under par over six rounds.
