Bauchou, a former standout at Oklahoma State where he played with 2018 U.S. Amateur champion Viktor Hovland, will make his U.S. Open debut after earning medalist honors in the Durham, N.C., final qualifying, carding 5-under 135 at the Duke University Golf Club. The Virginia native who now resides in Edmond, Okla., has competed full-time on the Korn Ferry Tour the past two years, and had eight starts in 2023. He owns two top-10 finishes in 2025, including a share of sixth at the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club, in Savannah, Ga. He turned pro in 2019 after a successful career at Oklahoma State, where he helped the Cowboys win an NCAA title in 2018 at Karsten Creek, the team's home course. In 2016, he was named the Big 12 Conference's Newcomer of the Year.
