Bio

The Japan Golf Tour member earned his first U.S. Open berth by shooting 9-under-par 131 to share medalist honors in the Japan final qualifier. He owns two career victories in Japan, both coming in 2022 at the Vantelin Tokai Classic and the Sansan KBC Augusta. He turned professional in 2021 after graduating from Nippon Sports Science University. His sister, Yui, qualified for this year's U.S. Women's Open Presented by Ally at Lancaster Country Club.
