The former Chico (Calif.) State golfer will make his U.S. Open debut after posting 4-under 136 in the Durham, N.C., final qualifier. Although he was born in Canada, he now makes his home in Vancouver, Wash. Grew up a big ice hockey fan and had dreams of playing in the National Hockey League, but injuries derailed those hopes and he switched to golf at age 14. At Division II Chico State, he helped the team reach the championship match of the 2016 NCAA Championships. He also was the Division II representative in the 2016 Palmer Cup at Formby in England. He currently plays on the Korn Ferry Tour. He owns two top-10 finishes on the KFT in 2025, including a solo sixth in The Panama Championship.
