The South African qualified for his first U.S. Open by earning medalist honors at the Walton Heath Golf Club (England) final qualifier, shooting 10-under 134. Competed on the Sunshine Tour before qualifying for the DP World Tour this year. His only victory came on the Sunshine Tour in 2022 (Sishen Classic), although he registered three other top-10 finishes to place 26th on the circuit's Order of Merit. He has one top-10 showing in 2023 on the DP World Tour.
