Final Qualifying: Shot 66-70 at Dallas (Texas) Athletic Club (Gold & Blue Courses) on May 20

Lopez Chacarra is set to make his U.S. Open debut after posting 6-under-par 136 at the Dallas Athletic Club final qualifier. He spent two seasons at Oklahoma State after transferring from Wake Forest, where he was a first-team All-American and reached as high as No. 2 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. He had qualified for the Korn Ferry Tour via PGA Tour University, a program that allows seniors to get a head start on playing professionally. But he chose to sign with LIV Golf, where he has claimed one tournament in Bangkok. He also owns a victory on the Asian Tour, the 2023 St. Andrews Bay Championship. His sister, Carolina, currently plays at Wake Forest and was on the school's 2023 NCAA Division I title team. During his time at Oklahoma State, Lopez Chacarra won the 2022 Columbus (Ohio) Regional. He also represented the International Team in the 2021 Palmer Cup.
