Vrzich will play in his first U.S. Open after earning medalist honors in the Bend, Ore., final qualifier at the Pronghorn Resort. He posted a 36-hole total of 5-under 139. Also advanced from his U.S. Open local qualifier in Granite Bay, Calif. Currently competing on the PGA Tour Americas, where he has a tie for third in six starts in 2024. He posted one top 10 in 10 starts on PGA Tour Canada in 2023. Started his college career at the University of Nevada before transferring to Pepperdine for his last two seasons. He was a second-team All-American at Pepperdine in 2021 and he won the California Amateur in 2020. He was the runner-up in the 2022 West Coast Conference Championship. He went 1-1-1 in match play in helping Pepperdine capture the 2021 NCAA title.
