F-20: Winner of 2025 Latin America Amateur Championship

Hastings earned this spot in his first U.S. Open by claiming the 2025 Latin America Amateur Championship by one stroke in January of 2025 at Pilar Golf Club, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  He will become the first player from the Cayman Islands to compete in the U.S. Open. Hastings just completed his senior season at San Diego State University, where he owns the lowest career-scoring record of 71.48, just ahead of two-time major champion Xander Schauffele. He also captured the 2025 Mountain West Conference individual title after firing a second round of 10 under, won the 2025 Lamkin Classic Invitational as well as the Maui Jim Intercollegiate in 2023 and the  UC San Diego Invitational in 2022. Hastings competed in the PGA Tour's Puerto Rico Open in 2024 and 2025 as well as the Korn Ferry Tour’s NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank in 2024.  In February of 2025, Hastings tied for 13th in the PGA Tour's Mexico Open and in April he competed in the Masters as the champion of the 2025 LAAC.
