Charoenkul will make his first U.S. Open start after earning medalist honors in the Japan final qualifier held at Ibaraki Golf Club. He posted 14-under-par 130 (67-63) to take the qualifier by three strokes. Charoenkul owns 12 worldwide victories, all coming in Asia. His most recent title came on the Thailand Golf Tour in 2022 at the Singha Championship. He also has collected three wins on the China Golf Tour, including the 2017 Beijing Classic. His only other start in a major championship came in the 2019 Open Championship, where he missed the cut.
