Murray will tee it up for just the second time in a U.S. Open, and the first since missing the cut nine years ago. He qualified at Woodmont Country Club (North Course) in Rockville, Md., shooting 6-under 138. Murray played at three different schools (East Carolina, Arizona State and Wake Forest) before turning professional in 2015. He owns one PGA Tour win, the 2017 Barbasol Championship, and one victory on the Korn Ferry Tour (2016 Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship). He is a native of Raleigh, N.C.
