Bio

The Detroit, Mich., native was added to the field on June 10 as the first alternate from the Columbus, Ohio, final qualifier, where he originally lost a 2-for-1 playoff for the last spot. He posted a 36-hole total of 9-under 133. Has bounced between the Korn Ferry Tour, PGA Tour Canada and PGA Tour Americas since turning professional in 2016. Played his collegiate golf at the University of Toledo. Is involved in the charity Hope For Prisoners, which is committed to helping men, women and young adults successfully reenter the workforce while assisting their families and their communities. Teamed with Colin Joseph to advance to the semifinals of the 2016 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship at Winged Foot Golf Club. He also won the 2015 Horton Smith Invitational at Detroit Golf Club. This will be his first U.S. Open.
