Norrman will be teeing it up for the first time in a U.S. Open after posting 8-under 132 at Lambton Golf & C.C. in Toronto. He played four seasons at Georgia Southwestern State University before transferring to Florida State for one season in 2021. He participated on the victorious 2020 International Palmer Cup Team and he reached as high as No. 4 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking before turning professional in 2021. Last August, he earned his PGA Tour card for the 2022-23 season by finishing 23rd on the Korn Ferry Tour money list. In 2021 at the BMW International in Germany, he aced a par 4 and wound up sharing fifth place. Later that fall, he earned his Korn Ferry Tour status for 2022 by tying for second at the KFT Q-School.
