The 2019 USA Walker Cup competitor will make his second U.S. Open start after posting 9-under 133 to share medalist honors at the Woodmont Country Club final qualifier. Salinda registered his first career professional win to begin the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour season at The Panama Championship. He also tied for eighth at the LECOM Suncoast Classic. Salinda played at Stanford University and was a semifinalist in the 2018 U.S. Amateur at Pebble Beach, losing to UCLA's Devindeep Bling, 1 down. Salinda helped Stanford win the 2019 NCAA title, while finishing sixth individually. Was a member of the victorious 2019 USA Walker Cup Team at Royal Liverpool. He advanced to the Round of 16 of the 2019 U.S. Amateur at Pinehurst. He also won the 2018 Pacific Coast Amateur at The Olympic Club. He also has played on the Korn Ferry Tour, PGA Tour Latinoamerica and PGA Tour Canada.
