Bio

The former Oklahoma State standout followed up his tie for 10th in the 2023 U.S. Open at The Los Angeles Country Club by collecting his maiden PGA Tour victory by three strokes at the 2024 Cognizant Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Eckroat was the runner-up in the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson Classic. Eckroat registered a pair of second-place finishes on the Korn Ferry Tour. Prior to turning professional, he was a member of the victorious 2021 USA Walker Cup Team at Seminole and he played on the U.S. Palmer Cup Team in 2019. A year earlier, he was the stroke-play medalist in the U.S. Junior Amateur, losing in the quarterfinals to future OSU teammate and eventual champion Matthew Wolff. This will be his third U.S. Open start.
