Fox earned his eighth U.S. Open start by moving into the top 60 of the Official World Golf Ranking on May 18. Fox owns two PGA Tour wins, the last comFing a week prior to the 2025 U.S. Open when he defeated Sam Burns in a three-hole playoff at the RBC Canadian Open. Fox also won the 2025 OneFlight Myrtle Beach Classic. Fox now owns 19 worldwide victories, four coming on the DP World Tour that includes the 2023 BMW PGA Championship, the circuit's flagship event. Fox is the son of former rugby player Grant Fox and the grandson of former cricketeer Merv Wallace. He represented New Zealand in the 2010 World Amateur Team Championship.
