F-21: Top 60 points leaders and ties in the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 19
Will make his 10th U.S. Open start, thanks to being among the top 60 points leaders in the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 19. English jumped back inside the top 60 after ending a four-year victory drought with his triumph in January at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, where he finished solo third in the 2021 U.S. Open. It was his fifth PGA Tour victory, but first since the 2021 Travelers Championship. Before getting his PGA Tour card, English won the 2011 Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational on the Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) as an amateur. The triumph came a couple of months before he represented the USA in the Walker Cup Match at Royal Aberdeen. English attended The Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tenn. He played collegiately at the University of Georgia and graduated in 2011 with a business degree. He represented the U.S. on the victorious 2021 Ryder Cup Team.
