F-22: Top 60 points leader in the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 22, 2023
The nine-time PGA Tour winner broke through for his first major title in 2017 when he edged Rickie Fowler by one stroke to claim The Masters Tournament. In 2020, he won the WGC-Mexico Championship. In August of 2019, Reed won the Northern Trust, the first leg of the FedExCup playoffs. His first PGA Tour win came in the 2013 Wyndham Championship in a playoff over Jordan Spieth. He played two seasons for the University of Georgia before transferring to Augusta State University, where he helped the team to consecutive NCAA titles in 2010 and 2011. Reed has made some of his biggest impact in his three Ryder Cup (2014, 2016 and 2018) and three Presidents Cup (2015, 2017 and 2019) appearances. He beat 2011 U.S. Open champion Rory McIlroy in his Sunday singles match in 2016 at Hazeltine National Golf Club to help the Americans end a three-match drought in the Ryder Cup.
