Lee joined sister Minjee as the only siblings to have captured USGA Junior titles; Minjee accomplishing the feat in 2012 and Min Woo in 2016 at The Honors Course, where he defeated Noah Goodwin in the 36-hole championship match. Min Woo turned professional in 2019 and has claimed a trio of DP World Tour (formerly European Tour) titles. His first came in the 2020 ISPS Handa Vic Open, an event co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour of Australasia and the European Tour. In 2021, he captured the Aberdeen Scottish Open in a playoff over Thomas Detry and Matthew Fitzpatrick, and last fall he won the 2023 Fortinet Australian PGA Championship. Last June at The Los Angeles Country Club, he posted a tie for fifth in just his second U.S. Open start.
