F-1: Winner of 2025 U.S. Open
F-2: Top 10 scorers and ties from the 2025 U.S. Open
F-11: Those players who qualified for the season-ending 2025 Tour Championship
In just his second U.S. Open start, Spaun overcame a front-nine 40 in the final round by shooting 3-under 32 over the inward nine, including a 65-foot birdie putt to punctuate his two-stroke victory in the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club. Spaun was the only competitor to finish in red figures for the week, which included a 4-under 66 in Round 1 that was the lone bogey-free round of the championship. The Los Angeles native owns four professional wins, including two on the PGA Tour. His previous victory came in the 2022 Valero Texas Open. Prior to the U.S. Open triumph, Spaun had risen up the Official Golf Ranking in 2025, thanks to a three-hole aggregate playoff defeat to Rory McIlroy at The Players Championship, and tying for second in the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches. Spaun, a father of two girls, attended San Diego State, where he was a two-time All-Mountain West Conference selection, and the 2012 MWC Player of the Year. He also was a second-team All-American in 2012. He played his first three professional seasons on PGA Tour Canada and when he finished among the top 3 on the circuit's Order of Merit in 2015, which included one victory, he earned his first start on the PGA Tour (RBC Canadian Open). In 2016 he won the News Sentinel Open on the Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour), which locked up his PGA Tour card for 2017. Spaun represented the U.S. in the 2025 Ryder Cup.
