Final Qualifying: Shot 69-63--132 at Hawks Ridge Golf Club, in Ball Ground, Ga., on June 8
The former University of Georgia standout will make his third U.S. Open start after posting 12-under 132 in a final qualifier held at Hawks Ridge Golf Club, in Ball Ground, Ga. Mitchell's lone professional win to date came in the 2019 Honda Classic by one stroke over Rickie Fowler and Brooks Koepka. Mitchell started his pro career on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica, where he was the runner-up in the 2015 Brazil Open. He played well enough in the 2017 Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour) Finals to earn his PGA Tour card for the 2018 season. He attended The Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tenn., the same school that produced another ex-Georgia Bulldog, Harris English. He has partnered with 2025 NFL MVP Josh Allen at the AT&T National Pro-Am.
