F-7: Winner of the 2026 PGA Championship
F-21: Top 60 point leaders in the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 18, 2026
The owner of nine worldwide victories earned his breakthrough victory at the PGA Championship in May at Aronimink Golf Club outside of Philadelphia. Rai held off two-time major champion Jon Rahm to post a three-stroke victory. Rai's first PGA Tour victory came at the 2024 Wyndham Championship, the final event on the PGA Tour schedule before the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Then Rai advanced to the Tour Championship to earn a spot in all four majors in 2025. This will be his fourth U.S. Open start. Three of his victories have come on the European Tour (now DP World Tour) at the 2018 Honma Hong Kong Open, 2020 Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open in a playoff over Tommy Fleetwood before it became a co-sanctioned event with the PGA Tour, and the 2025 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. He also won three times on the European Challenge Tour in 2017. Rai was the runner-up to Greyson Sigg in the 2021 Albertsons Boise Open on the Korn Ferry Tour, which was good enough to earn him his PGA Tour card for the 2021-22 season.
