F-11: Those players who qualified for the 2025 season-ending Tour Championship
Straka will play in his sixth U.S. Open after qualifying for the season-ending Tour Championship. He was born in Vienna, Austria, to an American mother and Austrian father. The family moved to Valdosta, Ga., when he was 14, and he later played for the University of Georgia from 2011-2016, taking a redshirt season in 2013-14. Since turning professional in 2016, Straka has posted four wins, including two in 2025: The American Express and the Trust Championship. At the 2022 Honda Classic, he became the first Austrian to win on the PGA Tour. He also posted one victory on the Web.com Tour (now Korn Ferry Tour). He owns a pair of top-10 finishes in major championships: a tie for seventh in the 2023 PGA Championship and that same year a share of second in The Open Championship. He has a twin brother, Sam, who played golf at the University of Georgia and has qualified for multiple USGA championships, including the U.S. Mid-Amateur. He represented Europe on the victorious 2023 and 2025 Ryder Cup Teams.
