F-21: Top 60 points leaders and ties in the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 18
The Danish star will make his second U.S. Open start by virtue of being among the top 60 point leaders of the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 18. Three of Højgaard's four professional wins have come on the DP World Tour, including the 2023 DP World Tour Championship in Dubai where he carded a final-round 64. His twin brother, Rasmus, also competes professionally on both the PGA Tour and DP World Tour. They helped Denmark win the 2018 World Amateur Team Championship. That year, he also won the European Amateur, and represented Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup and Denmark in the Youth Olympic Games. In 2023, he was on the victorious European Ryder Cup Team in Italy. In late March, Hojgaard was the runner-up to Gary Woodland in the Texas Children's Houston Open.
