F-11: Players who qualified and were eligible for the season-ending 2024 Tour Championship
Since turning professional in June 2023, the former Texas Tech All-American has made a quick ascension up the rankings, earning a spot on Luke Donald's 2023 European Ryder Cup Team before ever making a start in a major championship. Shortly before the 2023 Ryder Cup in Italy, Aberg claimed the Omega European Masters, and then in November he collected his maiden PGA Tour victory in the RSM Classic at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Ga. Then he contended in his maiden U.S. Open last June at Pinehurst before settling for a share of 12th. That came after earning runner-up honors to Scottie Scheffler at the Masters, his first-ever start in a major. In February, he registered his second PGA Tour title, edging Maverick McNealy by a stroke at the relocated Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines (moved from Riviera C.C. due to the Los Angeles fires). Prior to turning professional, he represented Sweden in the 2022 World Amateur Team Championship in France and spent 29 weeks atop the World Amateur Golf Ranking. He also helped the International side to victories in the 2020 and 2022 Palmer Cup matches. He also won the 2021 Jones Cup Invitational and consecutive Big 12 Championship titles in 2022 and 2023, along with the 2023 NCAA Norman (Okla.) Regional.
