The former Clemson University standout and Inman, S.C., native is making his first U.S. Open start. This is his second full season as a PGA Tour member. Thus far in 2025, Bridgeman has tied for second in the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches and was solo third in the Valspar Championship. He also tied for fourth in the Truist Championship held at Philadelphia Cricket Club a week before the PGA Championship. In 2024, he made 17 of 27 cuts. He grew up taking lessons from former PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour player Tommy Biershenk. Bridgeman qualified for three U.S. Amateurs and advanced to the Round of 16 in 2021 at Oakmont Country Club. He also reached the final 16 of the 2018 U.S. Junior Amateur at Baltusrol Golf Club.
